On Monday Fairfield police responded to an accident right off exit 24 on I-95 south. This wasn’t just any accident. According to the Fairfield Police,

A Nissan Maxima operated by Rosa Blanca Chavarria-Medina (DOB 07/20/83) of Bridgeport, was traveling south on I-95 and exited the Exit#24 ramp to Chambers Street. The vehicle continued south off the exit ramp and came to rest at Cumberland Farms located at 975 Kings Hwy East after striking five other vehicles. Four individuals, including an eighteen month old child, were transported by AMR Ambulance to area hospitals with non life threatening injuries.

Here is the insane video that was captured by a nearby surveillance camera (the car comes in at :10. It’s quick, so pay attention. Blink and you miss it)

They say there was “an indication of intoxication and a high rate of speed.” I mean, CLEARLY! It looks like she didn’t even hit the brakes. As you can imagine the accident is being investigated by a Crash Reconstruction Team of the Special Services Division.

The scary part is that it was only 8pm. It’s not like this happened at four in the morning with no one around. This is the type of stuff that makes me terrified to leave the house ever.

Lock this lady up and give her license back never I say!
