The energy! The Music! What a show that was- July 5th, Soldier Field in Chicago. The final concert from the remaining members of the Grateful Dead on their Fare Thee Well tour. I honestly felt like it was an honor to be there; just an incredible event and you could tell history was being made in those moments.
The three concerts also broke Soldier Field attendance records.
First night brought around 70,700 people- beating U2’s record from their 360 tour in 2009 (sorry Bono). The next two nights then broke that record resulting in the all time attendance of the July 5th show 71,000 people.
