Westport’s First Pitch is at 8pm tonight – relive some of the best/worst First Pitches ever

Tonight the Westport Little League team will play the Chula Vista, California team in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to continue their undefeated streak on their way to the championship in the Little League World Series. All of Connecticut will be watching (in fact, a lot of bars are already promoting that they’ll be airing the game). If you’re staying home, the game starts at 8pm on ESPN.

While the kids from Westport are actually competent at throwing a ball 60 feet and 6 inches from the pitching mound across home plate, there are some adults who can do it, and many who can’t. So, without further delay, enjoy this variety of amazing first pitches.

The most recent comes from South Korea, and includes completely unnecessary Taekwondo

You also have Carly Rae Jepsen’s failure from earlier this season

Another from South Korea, this time with unnecessary gymnastics

Regardless of your feelings towards him, President George W. Bush’s first pitch at Yankee Stadium after 9/11 was awesome

Connecticut’s own Baba Booey, Gary Dell’abate

Cirque du Soleil…for some reason

A compilation of some really bad ones

They all should be embarrassed because even a blind kid can do it

It is like David vs Goliath. Chula Vista is awesome. I am pulling for the underdogs from Westport.
