2. Connecticut trees

While the tree this year came from State College, Pennsylvania, approximately seven trees have come from Connecticut. Actually, the tallest tree to grace the center came from Killingworth in 1999, and stood at 100 feet tall! Other Connecticut towns like Shelton, Manchester and Ridgefield have all contributed trees in the past.

Christmas of 1999 boasts the largest tree in Rockefeller Center history. The tree stood at 100 feet tall. #TBT
