Yeah, I know what you’re saying… “Foursquare?!? Who uses that anymore?” Shockingly, lots of people actually still use it – and on a regular basis.
Well it’s a good that they do because how else would we get this information on America’s Best Beaches, based on user check-ins and reviews? They took all the states that actually have beaches (even if it’s a lake) and compiled all their information to determine the top beach in each state, just in time for summer to officially arrive this weekend.
So, from Greenwich to Stonington, and everything in between, which beach won for Connecticut? If you had your money on Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison, make sure you use that money to pay for parking at the beach ($9 for weekdays, $13 for weekend days).
