Every great city has a great skyline. It’s the one thing you can use to instantly decide if you are going to have a good time in that place or not.
For example, Cleveland has a terrible skyline. It’s not colorful, all the buildings look the same, there is no flare. It’s boring. Which is why the city of Cleveland is America’s most boring city. On the other side of the coin, New York’s skyline is famously great. So many different buildings sprawling, tall, short, many colors, just visually stimulating. This all makes sense because New York City is one of the greatest cities in the world.
See? Skylines. They matter.
The problem with Connecticut is that I fear we don’t have a real iconic skyline. Obviously Hartford being the capitol is the most popular skyline. It is a pretty good one too. But where in Connecticut is the BEST skyline?
