Whitney Cummings is no stranger to comedy; her first stand up “Money Shot,” which aired on Comedy Central in 2010, was nominated for an American Comedy Award. Since then, Cummings has added a plethora of other projects her repertoire and now she is coming to Foxwoods on Nov. 17.

If you are unfamiliar with the comedian, she is the co-creator and co-writer of the CBS comedy series “2 Broke Girls.” Not to mention, she will also be the executive producer on the reboot of “Roseanne” set to air in 2018.

Cummings is most know for her distinct voice and stand up that covers love, sex, relationships, and being a woman. Her new book “I’m Fine…And Other Lies” covers these topics and her struggle with codependency and anxiety.

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Cummings said she wanted to make it a “funny self help book,” rather than ones that are “bleak and boring.”
