It doesn’t matter what your economic predicament is, there are certain things in life that you just shouldn’t do.

Here’s my suggestion on what to do when that crook eventually gets himself caught.  Trust me, no one steals from a farm and gets away with it.  They have connections…

Instead of throwing them behind bars, give him community service.  The job?   Bale hay.  All day.

I mean it.  It sounds easy but it’s a task that could make Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson cry “Uncle!”

Imagine it: Moving around multiple 40+ pound bales of hay in the hot sun all while wearing long pants and sleeves…   I did it once at Lakeview Farm in Tolland.  Believe me, I discovered muscles I never knew I had when I tried to move the following morning.

So, sign him up for a summer’s worth of hay baling and I betcha that’ll break the thief of his sticky fingered habit REALLY quick!
