What is it about smoking weed that makes you so hungry? That insatiable lust for all things food- Turns out it’s a real medical thing!
According to the research, the neuron in your brain that lets you know when you are full are reversed when you smoke. That means that you feel hungry when under normal “not high” circumstances you wouldn’t be. They figured this out by observing the portion of the brain that controls appetite. The only good thing about this discovery is that there continues to be hope that those suffering with cancer will regain their appetite after smoking.
For the rest of the recreational users, just continue to spend your late nights at Taco Bell.
