One World Trade Center observatory is opening up next week to the public and it’s got some AMAZING views! That’s probably why it costs around $32.00 to get up there (compared to the Sears’ Tower Observatory in Chicago.. that’s really not a bad price!). Observatory is on the 100th floor and has 360 degree views! What else is cool is that when you go up to the observatory, you take an elevator called a “sky pod” and it shows you a historical time lapse of New York. You can watch that video here:

Some lucky press people got a sneak preview of the observatory and I’m thinking you can definitely see Connecticut on a clear day. So far and wide!

I can’t wait to go. I don’t care if I’m scared of heights or if it’s going to be full of tourists- I just want to look over the beautiful land that is the tri-state area. And boy oh boy, ain’t it pretty!
